ABOUT ME

Shortly after completing a First class degree in Fine Art at Sheffield Hallam University, I began working as a high school Art Teacher. Fast forward a few years, and after bringing my own three, fun loving (and at times crazy) children into the world I realised my passion lay in children’s books and so here I am, beginning my career in illustration. You can find me in my home studio with my cat, Pearl, snug on my shoulder! (Someone has to oversee my work, right?!)

INSPIRATION

I take inspiration from daily life as a parent, nature and my three young children, for whom I love to create entertaining stories at bedtime. I owe my love of storytelling to my Grandad, who I fondly remember imagining his own stories for me as a child at bedtime.
